Amazing You!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend and despite some of the wet weather you have managed some time in the garden. Sadly my planting is way behind schedule, so much so that I think my spring flowers may be surfacing sometime at the beginning of Autumn! It is about the normal schedule for planting for us. I always buy the bulbs with all the good intention of planting and having a beautiful display of flowers, only to find the bulbs looking lost and forgotten some time later in whichever storage area they have been left neglected in.

In March there has been no neglecting the ones I love and care about as it brought about a flurry of cards to share with them. I am finally sitting down with a much needed relaxing cup of tea, post children's party at the local soft play facility, to share these with you too.

I have been busy layering lots of lovely products for this card, but the background you can just see peeking behind is Shimmery White Cardstock with an overlay of Whisper White embossed with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. There is also the stunning floral designs of the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper to admire. If you haven't seen these papers in the Spring/Summer catalogue they are beautiful. One of the sheets could be framed alone to make a fabulous home decor piece!

I love the Vellum hearts paper as a semi-transparent layer in the On Film Framelits Frame. The sentiment on it was stamped using the ' You are amazingly Amazing' which comes in the coordinating Painted Petals Stamp set. This set is making me look like a professional water colour artist without any brushes in sight!

What better to make a special handmade card than to add some special embellishments too and here you can see the Paper Doily just softening the card at the bottom and the Clothespin with the Thick Baker's twine at the top edge too.

I love it when you finish one card and you love the design so much it immediately makes you want to craft another projects.  So here is another design with some of the same products.  This time, more of the Painted Petals stamping and I layered the saying on to the Chalk Talk dies labels.

These cards are all designs for my Mother's day flurry. I know, I needed three cards for this occasion! Luckily it meant more time playing with my goodies.  The final card was a folding layout I have wanted to try for a while.

I really started to get the colour combinations working for this one. It was my favourite by the time I finished.

The papers were such a great inspiration for the colour combinations and made such an easy card backgrounds for all three projects. It works so well you can make a card just with a simple stamping with it. These papers however are in the Spring/Summer catalogue which finishes soon, so don't delay in ordering them if you like them too.

Don't forget that the Sale-A-Bration only has a few days to go.  It finishes on TUESDAY this week (30th march) so if you have an order ready make sure you get the additional benefits during this fantastic offer time. Please check out the weekly deals too as the Envelope Punch Board is on this week and some colour cardstock, grab it whilst you can!

I will put the products lists below as usual, but I will have to confess that I have been bad and not noted everything down before sending the cards away to their recipients and it is difficult to be sure of everything without the cards in front of me, especially the colours.
